Plants Are Important But Not In Your Gutter
Plants are an important part of the ecosystem. It maintains the balance and sustainability of the fresh air we breathe. Having them around is like having your own air filtration system. Taking care of them sounds great too as gardening is a very relaxing hobby.
Though it’s totally the opposite if they are in your gutters! For gutters that are left unattended for so long, water and dirt get trapped, thus making it a perfect propagation area for plants.
A client called us a few days ago as she was having severe problems with her gutters in Barwon Heads. She didn’t realise how bad it was until it rained one afternoon. She heard a cracking noise from the gutters and when she had her husband check it, they were horrified to see how a cluster of plants was sitting and clogging their gutters and pipes. The noise she heard was from a broken part of their guttering. This was because of the weight of the soil and plants which was causing strain to the gutters.
She was really stressed when she spoke to us so we had Matt visit her to resolve the issue. It was not an easy task and it required a lot of steps to be done. But of course, we won’t send one of our best gutter cleaning experts for nothing! Matt was able to complete the job and leave the gutters clean and safe from further damage.
Letting plants grow on your gutters is not a joke. Call our experts on 13 11 49 to check the health of your gutters in Barwon Heads!
