How Should I Clean My Solar Panels?

How Should I Clean My Solar Panels?

How often should I clean my solar panels? A pretty common question solar panel owners ask after they get it in place and functional.

Having them washed at least every six months is a general rule. Especially if they are prone to continuously getting dirty due to a home’s location, birds hovering in the area, and so on. If dust, debris and other accumulated dirt piles up on the solar panels, it decreases its efficiency by blocking sunlight from coming into contact with the solar panels.

Recently, Mr Gutter Cleaning was called by a customer who needed solar panel cleaning in Indented Head. We had Matt, one of our professional gutter cleaners in Victoria, go to the customer’s home and help out. The customer mentioned that two years had lapsed since the last solar panel cleaning session after their installation 5 years ago.

Matt did not waste time and started cleaning the solar panels. He washed them and made sure that they were spotless and good as new!

The customer seemed relieved and extremely satisfied with the results. Need solar panel cleaning? We have you covered. Enquire now by calling 13 11 49!
